It’s finally time. Over a decade & a half since the story that would become the Galaxy Ascendant series materialized in my mind, and about 3 and a half years since the release of the first book in the series, the 7th and final book is out! I’ve already talked a bit about how it feels to reach this point in another blog post, but I also had to mark the official release of the book.
I’m extremely proud of the work I did on this series, of Ben Zwycky’s editing, Cornelia Yoder’s maps, and, of course, John Zeleznik’s amazing art–both on the covers and for the internal art in A Worthy Sacrifice. I wouldn’t have been able to put out products I’m as proud of as I am without their help.
It’s been a fun ride… but I’m nowhere near done yet.
My next series, Light Unto Another World, is closing in on readiness for launch, and many other projects are in the works.
Also, I’m not done with the Galaxy Ascendant. Not by a long shot. I’ll be taking some time off from it to focus on other stuff, and give the space opera section of my brain a chance to recharge so that when I do get back to full-length Galaxy Ascendant novels, there will be no drop in quality and general awesomeness.
That’s it for now. Check out A Worthy Sacrifice, and if you’re new to the series, you can get started with book 1, A Greater Duty, for just $0.99!
